These swing handles are available in a variety of styles; rivited or separate ears or drilled to be attached with screws, nails or rivets.
Length (Long) measurement is from the top of one notch, up and over the handle to the top of the other notch (the portion of the handle that is above the rim of the basket).
Spread is measured across the handle (the width of the basket), this is usually the most important measurement . Spreads are generally flexible, handmade - allow for some variations.
The overall measurement of the handle is the entire length of the handle, from tip to tip.
All wooden handles require some degree of sanding.
